Hello Friends ,

For long I had a longing to  make a Art Journal Page .. I love how Ms.Shilpa makes Art Jounal . She has a page Neon diary ..

Inspired by Her I made one ..    :)

I used a Note book bind here . Covered it with paper strips randomly . Gave a coat of Gesso and a generous coat of Distress crackle ..

I used Yellow and Brown colour Water colour  over the page ..  The colours seeped into the cracks .

I stamped the Three men from TH Stamp set  on three Hearts I punched out from an Old Card .

I Love embossing ..So I used Bubble Stencil  from Prima ..  Added Buttercup Embossing powder ..

Loved the way it turned out !!!

On a Sunny Bright afternoon ...

Hello Friends ..

Its Bright & Sunny out here  .... A very Lazy afternoon ..  I had a Chocolate Mousse Empty cup lying around my desk for a while ...  So I came up with an Idea .. Why not fill it up with small little things lying around and create a scene ?

So I apply gesso around the empty cup.. While its drying I stick Gauche Roll . So it dries along with the Gesso .. Spray Lindy's gang  Summer loving Sun and Luscious Lime ..

I placed 2 dry branches , Flowers , Bead strings, and Foliage ..

I also placed an Orante Oval as a tag to  write a note on it while gifting it to some one you love :)

I Love this .. And keep looking at it ...

Being an avid reader , I remember reading Alice in Wonderland when I was a kid ..

A Vintage Journey has a wonderful challenge  - Through a Looking Glass " Inspired from Alice In wonderland "

While going through all the DT  members project , I found one very inspiring . It was  from Ms. Zoe from IGirlZoe .

Here is what I made  :

I had a duct tape roll sitting on my desk for long ..

An Empty Duct tape roll was transformed .... Want to see the transformation  ???

Lets start ..

The Duct tape roll was first covered with pattern paper around it. Gave a base to it with Hard board and turned it on the side to give a niche  where I can assemble the Alice theme ..

For the Inner part - the inner edge was given a coat of Gesso and Distress crackle . Once the crackle appeared I poured Sunshine yellow Alcoholic Ink over it  . It spread around into the cracks . A lovely yellow - Orange crackled Texture. Archival Ink Potting Soil was rubbed for a little aged look ..I stamped TH stamp on a Paper an stuck it on the inside base ..

 I have given a dew drop effect using the Glossy accent ..

When you turn it Over on the side it has a tendency to roll over .To fix this issue , I mounted it on an Old Empty TypeWriter Reel which was given a coat of Gesso and wound a ribbon to it ..

The bottle was coated with Glue N Seal , once it was dry , applied a coat of Distress Crackle . I love the Crackle effect which the Distress Crackle brings out :) . I used Slate and Summer Yellow Alcohol Ink over the bottle ...

Next I arranged everything in the Niche of the Duct tape roll ..

 A handmade bloom , die cut leaves and few Foam flowers arranged on outside ...

A chipboard Lamp post given a coat of Gesso , distress crackle and Distressed with Archival Ink - Potting Soil ...

Dream BIG

Its MasterBoard Playtime ..  Wondering what is Masterboard .. ???

"  A masterboard is a large background piece designed to be cut up and used in smaller projects, such as journals, postcards, cards, ATC's etc. It can be created with any combination of collage, paint, inks, sprays, rubber stamps, stencils.  "

This was new to me ..

 I had a  Plastic Box with No Lid (I have a thing of misplacing Lids :)  ).. Not sure what it had in it .. Currently I had been using it to keep my Stash , Left Overs of Projects so that it can come handy when I create something new !!!  I gave it a makeover with the Master Board I made :)


Here is my take on this challenge :

Old Music Sheet and Card Stock  was sprayed with Lindy's Gang Spray Summer Loving Sun . I then took a Tim Holtz Stamps - Curious Possibility  and stamped Randomly on both Papers .. Later Distressed with Archival Ink - Fern Green .. I loved this color soooo much that I made this as my central color ..

Moving on  , Once the master-board was done , I was quite happy with the Outcome . I Cut out the Papers according to the Size of the Box .. Decoupaged..Embossed certain parts of the edges using embossing powder - Fern green .

The Box looked lovely .. TH stamps has got a feel of its own .. It can stand on its own without embellishments ...!!

I decided on Minimalist  Embellishment ..
I took a Picture of a Boy from TH ephemera set . Worded " Dream " from the stickers I had .  Die Cut an Ornate Oval using Sizzix Die, which again was embossed using Fern green Embossing powder on the edges ..

Once I was happy with the placement of the embellishment I stuck it and Viola I loved this Box  "Dream "

A Dream is a wish your heart makes   !!! I dream of making more such Lovelies till the day I can :)

A Night by the Sea

Hello Friends ,



Ever dreamt of waking up in the night , residing by the sea,  the silence giving u a sensation that you are in a different world.. An owl besides you hooting .. Strange feeling of mother nature so close to you ..

As the days go by I could not get over the feeling of sea and Owl in me that I made a layout of it .

This is a 13" x 13" wooden board which was the base for the " A  night by the Sea .. "  Layout.

I keep gazing it  .. Dreaming of such a day to be close to our Mother nature ...
