Pretty Tassel

Hello Friends ,

One of my favorite blog site Lessology  has a wonderful challenge : Pretty Tassel. Now this is what I call challenge for me to think Out of the box . Now how do I get a tassel .. I went through my entire junk collection but couldn't get any. Few days ago I washed a dress of mine and drop fell a tassel .It had fell out of it ..  Viola !. Instead of stitching it back to the dress , I attached it in my Junk Journal .

I have created another Junk Journal today .. Well.. You guessed it right . I Love Love Love Journals..
The Red color was perfect for this Season for Love .

I recycled an old wedding invitation card I had with me . It had fabric over the card. It wasn't an ordinary  paper invitation card.

Lessology : Pretty Tassel

Organizer using DCWV Safari Chic Stack

                                                Hello Friends ,

                       I have an Organizer to share with you all .. The Organizer is entirely handmade using old desktop calendar .  I love the DCWV paper stacks . It has great texture and colours . I have used  DCWV Safari Chic stack for this Project  ..

Lets go through the Organizer I created .

First I removed the spiral bind and the base holder of the Desktop calendar . The size measured 4x6 inch with  a spine of 1 inch . 

This is how it looked after binding it together .  Then I made a small pocket for storing papers on left flap . On the right flap its a small note pad which can be removed . 

On the front cover I place an Embellishment and put Glass Glitter by Prima in the centre .

The entire model was made , keeping in mind its purpose of use as an organiser , flexibility and the ease to handle by keeping the embellishment to minimum.

Hello Friends ,

I would like to share with you an Accordion fold album  with a Valentine theme .

Along with the things I hoard , I had a brochure on Google Chromebook . It folded like Accordion .

Since its the Season of Love , I chose We Are MemoryKeepers - Love Stuck Cupid's Arrow Pattern paper . I cut it according to the size of the page , distressed it with Abandoned Coral . 

This is how it looked finally ..

Journalling Page 4 : Documented

Hello Friends ,

A journal page documented .. I happen to lay my hands on old typed papers of my Grandfather .. I used it on my Journal page as I wanted to keep him in  my memories for ever ..

Stuck a few decoupage napkins on it . I loved the simplicity and how beautiful it looked .


Grandpa , you will live in our memories for ever ...
