Shadows in the Bloom !

Hello ...

For long I have been wanting to do quilling on a handmade background and not on a plain paper ...

I came upon an old book of mine which had this picture of a house in it.. So I thought of  using it as my background.. I took a corrugated board , distressed it using Black soot.. I stuck the picture on it .. I had a frame / mesh like structure made from sticks with me for long.. I used it to embellish the layout .. Finally my Quilled white flowers and lovely green leaves were arranged on it ..
I have stamped a picture of a bird in a cage in a corner too !!!!

The Blue Bottle

Hello !!

Here is my latest creation.. I call it "The Blue bottle" ..

Its is a beer bottle which I have upcycled into a cute little bottle which can enhance the beauty of the place where it is kept  :)

I painted the bottle with Acrylic paint  and added my pretty Quilled flowers on it ...

Just loved the way it has come out ..
