A Tag Album ..

Hello Friends ,

Ever wondered what can be done with Toilet paper Roll when the tissue gets over  ??

Penstands and vases are the ideas we usually get . I came across  few pictures of Album made from TP roll  ..  And I had to try it  ..

I wasted a few rolls before I got these straight though :) ..

Procedure :
First we need to flatten it . Now how ever we try to flatten , it get back to its bulgy shape .. So its tough .

Next I applied Gesso and coloured the edges with acrylic colours . I used Purple and Golden ..

Punched 2 holes at on edge of each TP Roll , I crimped it with eyelets . So this edge gets sealed..
(Sorry didn't take pic of that  )

Next decorate as per your liking ..

Eaasy .. Peasy  ... Right ???

Thanks for stopping by ...

Hugs
Remya

  1. Terrific album with a nice vintage feel to it. Love all the embossing and your clever use of the toilet paper rolls. I use mine as they are to put around the cord of my curling iron and hair dryer - no tangled mess in the drawer but not very pretty. Thanks for joining us for the last challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow.

  5. Hi Remya, this is one of my favourite uses for old cardboard tubes. The best way to flatten them is by using a bone folder along the edge.
Thanks for sharing this with us at The Mirror Crack'd. Happy crafting, Angela R.x
