Hello friends ,
Out with my secret love , I could not keep myself away from journaling :)
I follow a lot of crafter of which I love Autumn Clark - SewPaperPaint Work pieces
This journal is made of cardboard from old cartons. I have used Tim Holtz Wood Mounted Stamp - Butterflies & Moths, Idea-ology: Tissue Wrap / Melange , Ephemera Pack - Ideology, Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Stash Laboratorie , Ranger Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder and some twine.
I started by applying gesso on the cardboard. Next I randomly painted acrylic paint over it. Then I stamped the Tim Holtz Wood Mounted Stamp - Butterflies & Moths and embossed it with Ranger Super Fine Gold Embossing Powder. Then I splashed Lindy's starburst spary and dried it with ranger heat gun.
Last I embellished the page with Idea-ology: Tissue Wrap / Melange , Ephemera Pack - Ideology and Tim Holtz Idea-ology Paper Stash Laboratorie
Happy Crafting !

Oh Remya! This is my true love and I haven't worked in my journal for ages either. Something must give so I can make time for this. I love your pages, the image, the depth of your layers and blending of colors. Such an inspiration for me this morning! Big hugs, Autumn
ReplyDeleteI love the amazing textures from all those recycled materials and packaging - and the shimmering blended colours are so lovely. A great page spread in your cardboard journal. Thanks so much for joining us on A Vintage Journey.
