Circle of Life ...

Hello Friends ,

Of all the shapes in Geometry I Love CIRCLE the most !!

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love
Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle
The Circle of Life
 - From the movie " The Lion King "

I chose the color Baby Pink and Cream . They are soft color and very soothing to eyes.
It gives a very elegant look , very girl like ..

I have used an old CD as base and top reference.. To build up the box , 216 tight coils have been used . I alternated between 2 layers of Baby pink and 2 Layers of Cream colored quilling strips ..
The Top lid , which is an Old CD again , has been covered with " PaperMania "  PP set . The edges again has been set with 38 Tight coils of Baby cream color .. Decorated with my ever favorite Malaysian flower, few leaves and twirls and half pearls :)

Materials used :
Quilling Strips - from Itsy Bitsy
Half Pearls - from A1 craft and supplies
Old CDs from my Stash
Quilling tool

Hope you all liked it :)
Happy Quilling  !!
Hugs
Remya

  1. This is an amazing project and your quilling is awesome. I loved the lid but when I realised that you had created the actual box from quilled circles .... wow! The pearls are the icing on the cake, or in this case - box! Fabulous. Thanks for joining in at Anything But A Card this time.

  2. Ramya these are beautiful and you must be a patient crafter. When I tried quilling I got into a mess. Thank you for joining in at Anything But A Card this challenge.
